Air-Fried Pickles
60 Minutes | Serves 2-4
Pickles and Breading Station
20-30 Dill Pickle Chips
2 Tbsp All-Purpose Flour
1-2 cups Bread Crumbs
2 Large Eggs Beaten
2 Tbsp Half and Half
1 tsp Dried Oregano
1 Tbsp Grated Parmesan Cheese
Kosher Salt to Taste
Coarse Ground Black Pepper to Taste
Fry Sauce
¼ cup Mayonnaise
2 Tbsp Ketchup
1 tsp Yellow Mustard
2 tsp Honey
Splash of Fresh Lime
1 tsp Pickle Juice
Garlic Powder, Kosher Salt and Black Pepper to Taste
Optional: Add Hot Sauce and Chipotle Chili Powder for a Spicy Variation
Ranch Dressing
¾ cup Sour Cream
2 Tbsp Mayonnaise
1 cup Buttermilk
2 Tbsp Fresh Dill Minced
3 Tbsp Fresh Cilantro Minced
2 Tbsp Dried Chives
2 Tbsp Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
1 tsp Kosher Salt
½ tsp Coarse Ground Black Pepper
Drain the pickle chips and thoroughly dry them with paper towels. Set up a classic breading station.
Season the flour with kosher salt, black pepper and your favorite rub or seasonings. Season the bread crumbs with kosher salt, black pepper, Parmesan cheese and oregano.
Whip the eggs and half and half together.
Bread the pickles. Air fry them at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Serve with fry sauce, ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce.
